A Fallen Angel With A Prayer…

A familiar face in a mirror… eyes painted black

A reflection that takes her… faraway back

Deep in her mind… his memory still lingers

Promises of the moon… stars and the sky

A broken heart… was all he left her

Suffering alone… with all of  his lies

A life so bitter… a broken woman

With nothing… her back to the wall

Paints her lips… with red desire

A new face… every nightfall

A fallen angel… with pleasures to offer

Love… doesn’t exist anymore

She smiles… to the face in the mirror

Outside… the night has started to fall

Inside her heart… a prayer she whispers

“They may take this body… but God will only have my soul”
