“The Changing”

Like the trees

Changing their skin

The warm breeze

Calling the flowers

To bloom from within

Like the snow

Melting into a stream

Calling the earth

To bring out its green

So we change

And forever Changing

We’ll Be

Interesting how you say the same using far less words and your “changing” are softer than mine! I like that difference. I hope you are not crossed about the guilt comment. Sometimes when we read someone we are drowned into the other’s feelings, sometimes into our owns. I just said I am not comfortable with that theme. Period. What about the part I said you have a poetic style I like? I’ve been reading you and shall read you even when I don’t comment. I just enjoy the way you write.

    • Sam says:

      Hi Seabell,
Thank you for your comments, and I feel overwhelmed by your liking of my writing style. And no never at any point I felt crossed because as you clearly said, when we read something we do reflect on it from a personal point of view, this is the beauty of poetry. And personally I like to go deeper in human feelings whether positive or negative. It is who we are at the end of the day.
Again thank you for reading my blog and I’m looking further for more comments from your side.
      Have a great day…. Samer…:-)

What a relief! I shall read because I like to read poetry and learn. I’ll comment when I feel particularly moved. Have a great day too… or night!

  8. Olivia says:

    Kind of agree with Seabell..

“Change” expressed so subtly.. I would have dripped blood across the screen- to make my point conveyed! You have done the same thing so beautifully and without sounding threatening!

I have started looking forward to read your poetry. Free spirited, close to life and real portraits!!

Wishing you more so you keep writing- so I keep reading you!!
    Hugs xoxox

This is profoundly truth. A treasure. It speaks to the very marrow of being. Well done. A gift. It is in the spirit – thought not the style – of Gibran. Lovely!
