The Waiting…

The darkness falls heavy 

On the abandoned hearts 

And the lonely souls 

With the shadows 

Each night they lay 

Awaiting the morning 

This waiting game 

They mastered 

Since long 

What’s left 

To be found

And what’s left to be lost
