Beyond The Realm Of Time…

What difference does it make

Young or old

Dark hair or grey

Age is but a number

Colour is just a shade

Souls might take shortcuts

They arrive a bit early

Sometimes a bit late

Yet in the beginning

The Divine set them off

For their journeys

All on the same day

  2. Vinay says:

so true.. color and age doesn’t make a difference, not to me anyways! and a perfect example of that I feel is blogging. here, all inspire, get inspired and support so nicely! 🙂 I like this poem a lot, Sam!

  3. magher1 says:

So much truth and beauty in your words… After all, it depends on us how we make use of our lives and how we approach them. In our minds and souls we can be young and happy forever. 🙂

  4. Pat Cegan says:

Interesting poem, Samer. One thing I have observed that can be a real trap is the race to see who can be more “spiritual.” When we think we are “more spiritually advanced” than someone else, or just the opposite, not as “good” as another who is “more spiritual,” we are practicing a kind of arrogance. Life is not a game of football or chess. We are all here is this school called, “life,” most of us still in kindergarden. On the other hand, we are One with our Creator and with each other, which far redeems anything that We may view as failures (which are not at all, of course, just lessons, sometimes for ourselves, sometimes for others. ) Thank you, for your well penned poem and the reflection it encouraged. hugs, pat

    • Sam says:

Your reflections are always deep Pat, so true the arrogance trap is always there, and we have to be aware of not falling in to it. Human nature is so vulnerable…Hugs, Samer.

  5. Andy says:

    Very thought-provoking. Thanks for sharing.

  6. Kim Nelson says:

I agree, Sam, that we are all on the same path, the same journey. Some of us, and I AM one, have more stubborn souls requiring more intensive lessons. 🙂 But in the end, we are all Divine.

  7. Jingle says:

  11. John Evans says:

Thank you for such a positive piece of poetry. It can be funny how things work out for us. A conversion of heart leaning in the direction of Love really pays off big. Virtue is always better to know, not simply believe but to come to embrace her, living the life. Such beauty in such few words. Happy creativity!

  12. Breathtaking Sam!…almost as you’ve pulled it out of my mind
(but with the more beutiful words)
Did you said something about a mirror?…. 🙂

  13. Lovely Sam-deeply insightful poem ! All differences are indeed man-made!

  14. seabell says:

I have to say that I read this poem before and just didn’t comment because I can see at least two dimensions in it and got a little lost…

    • Sam says:

Seabell you are an avid reader, that’s for sure. I believe each poem has more than one dimension, actually it has a dimension with each reader. I would like to know what you saw…

  20. Ina says:

nice one sam! thanks for coming by..

  23. clariice says:

We should not define ourselves with definitions from others. Sometimes we categorise people to simplify things, but later do we realised with these boxes, we have started to limit our thoughts and we become myopic and hence we started our stereotypes, isnt it? 😀

  27. Becca Givens says:

I really like this, Sam … the journey of the soul and the spirit …

I have come to realize … short cuts or the long way — matters not in the end … as long as we are moving … wherever we are at the moment – is exactly where we should be!

    Thank you for sharing ~

  28. yuuki-chan says:
